For its 5th Generation and 49th anniversary, Greenfields Magazine revamped its website and presence on social media while giving the magazine a completely new and fresh look. They also revitalized their strategy of reaching out to farmers. They refocused on collaborations with government agencies such as the Department of Agriculture and its attached agencies. Planters Products, Inc. was established in 1963 as one of the leading Agricultural Chemical Companies in the Philippines.
In 1970, it was purchased by the Sugar Producers Cooperative Marketing Association, the country's largest cooperative of sugar planters, and renamed Planters Products, Incorporated (PPI).
Its primary focus is the manufacturing, production, trading, and marketing of agrochemical products.
At present, PPI has twelve (12) brands of crop protection chemicals consisting of insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, and molluscicides.
